It is no longer necessary to purchase special film when black and white prints are needed. You just shoot your regular color film and when you drop it off for developing just request black and white prints. That way you can have any or all of them printed in color at any time later. There is absolutely no loss of detail or contrast with the process we use. The paper was specifically designed for that purpose and all of the exposure characteristics of color film are retained. In short, there is no reason at all to use black and white film to get black and white prints. Plus, we are able to offer B&W PRINTS from COLOR NEGATIVES at the same price as color 4 x 6" at the time of developing -- approximately $ 8.99 for 24 exposures. We can also enlarge from 5 x 7" up to 10 x 15" in just a day or two -- in black and white or color (or both) from the same color negative.
